Reality check for Man City haters

First of all, I'm not a Man City fan. I'm enjoying them having a poor season by their usual standards.

However, whatever your personal feelings about Man City, you have to live in the real world, and I've noticed that many Man City haters are convinced that when the case involving 115 charges is decided, Man City are going to be demoted four divisions (or worse).

So let's consider how likely that scenario is...

i) Premier League clubs, as part of their contract to play in the Premier League, are blocked from taking legal action against the FA. (They can only go to independent arbitration).

ii) This restriction doesn't apply to non-Premier League clubs, i.e. non-Premier League clubs can bring legal action against the FA (and their bosses).

Given the above, how likely do you think it is that the FA will relegate Man City, thus putting themselves at risk of prosecution?
